Job Title: Cloud Engineer Associate (3-6 Years)

Roles and Responsibilities:
1.
**Cloud Infrastructure Management:**
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines, containers, and serverless resources.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure high availability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

**Security and Compliance:**
- Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, and network security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to cloud infrastructure.
3.
**Automation and Scripting:**
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and updates.
4.
**Troubleshooting and Support:**
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients, assisting with cloud-related inquiries and challenges.
5.
**Performance Optimization:**
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization, including resource allocation, load balancing, and database performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve performance bottlenecks and improve overall system responsiveness.
6.
**Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:**
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, architecture, and processes.
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
