10+ Years.</p><br/><p>Designation name : Cloud Engineer III.</p><br/><p>Location Chennai.</p><br/><p>Shift Timings 1.30 PM to 10.30 PM IST UK based Shift timings.</p><br/><p>Looking for Immediate Joiners only.</p><br/><p>Job Purpose :</p><br/><p>AWS Engineer with strong technical leadership, hands-on AWS cloud architecture expertise, and a DevOps mindset.</p><br/><p>The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure automation, networking, and security, as well as a proven track record of customer satisfaction and cloud deployment success.</p><br/><p>This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced :</b></p><br/><p>- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional.</p><br/><p>- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional.</p><br/><p>- HashiCorp Terraform Associate.</p><br/><p><b>Experience :</b></p><br/><p>- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience.</p><br/><p>- 5 years focused on AWS (cloud application development and deployment).</p><br/><p>- Cloud & DevOps.</p><br/><p>- 5+ years developing and deploying cloud applications with seamless integration, scalability, and performance tuning.</p><br/><p>- Strong DevOps mindset with a customer-first approach.</p><br/><p>- Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket), code reviews, branching, tagging, pipelines, and CI/CD (Jenkins).</p><br/><p>AWS Architecture & Automation :</p><br/><p>- Active participation in AWS architecture planning (data perimeter, SCPs, legacy account migration, tagging/IAM strategies).</p><br/><p>- Automated creation of AWS accounts with base infrastructure (IAM policies, S3 settings, VPC Flow Logs, AWS Config, tagging, EC2 DNS records, backups, metrics onboarding) while ensuring policy compliance.</p><br/><p>AWS Services :</p><br/><p>- Networking & Content Delivery: VPC, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Elastic Load Balancing (ELB).</p><br/><p>- Compute: EC2, EC2 Auto Scaling, Lambda.</p><br/><p>- Security & Compliance: IAM, GuardDuty, Inspector, Certificate Manager, Firewall Manager, Key Management Service.</p><br/><p>- Databases: Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift (SQL & NoSQL).</p><br/><p>- Storage: S3, EBS.</p><br/><p>- Analytics: Glue, Athena, Kinesis.</p><br/><p>- Application Integration: Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS, SQS.</p><br/><p>- Cloud Financial Management: Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost & Usage Reports.</p><br/><p>- Containers: EKS, ECS, Fargate.</p><br/><p>- Management & Governance: Organizations, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Service Catalog, CLI, Config, Systems Manager.</p><br/><p>Infrastructure as Code & Tooling :</p><br/><p>- Advanced Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable infrastructure automation.</p><br/><p>- Logging and monitoring with Splunk and New Relic.</p><br/><p>- Security/risk mitigation tools such as Prisma and Wiz.</p><br/><p>- Cloud networking tools such as Aviatrix.</p><br/><p>Development & Programming :</p><br/><p>- Expert-level Python (cloud automation, infrastructure as code, AI/ML pipelines, API development, data processing).</p><br/><p>- Experience with Boto3 (AWS SDK for Python), PowerShell, and shell scripting.</p><br/><p>- AI/ML experience: building generative AI solutions for automation, code generation, cost analysis, knowledge retrieval, and designing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with enterprise data sources.</p><br/><p>- Implementing guardrails for AI systems to enforce content policies and compliance.</p><br/><p>Agile & Documentation :</p><br/><p>- ITIL knowledge: incident management, problem resolution, change management.</p><br/><p>- Agile practices: PI planning, sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.</p><br/><p>- Proficient with Jira and Confluence for user story creation and project tracking.</p><br/><p>- Code documentation in Bitbucket with clear comments and README files for :</p><br/><p>- Strong ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, and service-related issues to improve performance and reliability.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
