<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Provide operational support and administration for GCP cloud environments, with hands-on experience in GKE, Compute Engine, and related services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design, manage, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure in line with business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot issues across services and environments, ensuring maximum uptime and performance efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Leverage monitoring tools like Stackdriver, CloudWatch, and ELK Stack to proactively identify and resolve system issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with DevOps and development teams to deploy cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to automation, configuration management, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, and </p><p>process optimization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write scripts using languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, or .NET for automation </p><p>and tool integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support continuous improvement of cloud services, incident response, and system health </p><p>monitoring.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in a 24x7 shift-based environment to ensure reliable operations and quick incident resolution.</p><p><br/><b>Required Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 5 - 12 years of IT operational experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Reliability Engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration, support, and service deployment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient with GCP services, especially GKE, Compute Engine, and Cloud IAM.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong working knowledge of cloud-native monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK, Stackdriver, CloudWatch).<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies : Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos.<br/><br/></p><p>- Scripting and automation experience using Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, or .NET.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and DevOps best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good communication, analytical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.<br/><br/><p><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- GCP Professional certifications (e.g., GCP Cloud Engineer, GCP DevOps Engineer) are a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in a global enterprise IT environment with high service availability </p><p>expectations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
