<p>Job Title : Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud & Systems (5+ Years).<br/><br/> Location : Gurgaon.<br/><br/> Experience Required : 5+ years.<br/><br/> Employment Type : Full-time.<br/><br/> Role Summary :<br/><br/> We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who will act as a key liaison between Infrastructure and Delivery Teams.<br/><br/> The role involves enforcing Cloud Services standards across global services and partners, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure operations.<br/><br/> Key Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Investigate and resolve technical issues across Windows and Linux environments, including OS installation, LVM management, and server health monitoring.<br/><br/>- Administer user authorization and access control to maintain security and compliance.<br/><br/>- Deploy and manage servers on AWS and Azure (Linux & Windows instances).<br/><br/>- Manage cloud storage solutions (EBS volumes, partitioning, snapshots restore, etc.)<br/><br/>- Configure and manage firewall/security group settings in cloud environments.<br/><br/>- Develop, provision, and maintain servers using AMIs and CloudFormation templates for automation.<br/><br/>- Perform cloud migrations, including VPC-to-VPC instance migration.<br/><br/>- Set up and maintain AWS services like RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB.<br/><br/>- Implement and manage user access policies and permissions via AWS IAM.<br/><br/>- Perform Linux system administration tasks (file system, disk, and network configurations).<br/><br/>- Carry out patching, updates, and decommissioning of servers.<br/><br/>- Manage authentication and directory services such as Active Directory and LDAP.<br/><br/>Required Skills :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux OS administration.<br/><br/>- Hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware preferred).<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, and authentication services.<br/><br/>- Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals and system security best practices.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
