<p><p><b>About the job :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team.<br/><br/> This is a critical role responsible for leading the migration of business-critical enterprise applications from our on-premises infrastructure to the Microsoft Azure Cloud.<br/><br/> The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java Spring Boot development, Microservices architecture, and deep expertise in Azure cloud services, with a specific focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).<br/><br/> You will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition, minimizing business disruption, and establishing a secure, scalable, and modern cloud-native environment.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead and execute the end-to-end migration of assigned enterprise applications from on-premises to the Azure Cloud within a scheduled timeframe.<br/><br/>- Serve as the subject matter expert for migrating Microservices applications to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).<br/><br/>- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures that meet enterprise-level requirements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to resolve technical challenges and ensure project alignment.<br/><br/>- Drive the adoption of DevOps methodologies by designing and building robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and release processes.<br/><br/>- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies for all phases of the migration.<br/><br/>- Monitor post-migration application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operations to ensure stability and efficiency on Azure.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development and enterprise application migration.<br/><br/>- Extensive experience and demonstrated proficiency in Java Spring Boot development.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in designing and deploying Microservices in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).<br/><br/>- Extensive experience with containerization technologies and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- In-depth, hands-on experience with key Azure services, including AKS, App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Managed Instance (MI).<br/><br/>- Strong practical experience with REST APIs.<br/><br/>- Experience with Hybrid Deployment models is a plus.<br/><br/>- Basic knowledge of Azure infrastructure and networking services</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
