Urgent! Cognizant - Azure Network Services Engineer - Cisco ASA/ISP Job Opening In Pune – Now Hiring Cognizant
<p><b>Role Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>Verify the requests for firewall rule opening & other Security related requests in Fortigate, Cisco firewalls & implement the same by following the change process.
If needed co-ordinate with the requestor to correct it as per standard.<br/><br/>(what they will be doing) - verify the requests for new virtual IP creation, certificate renewal & other requests in F5 LTM, work on implementing the same by following the change process.
If needed co-ordinate with the requestor to correct it as per standard.
<br/><br/> -Good understanding of OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols.<br/><br/> - knowledgeable to work in Service Now Ticketing environment with incidents, requests, for creating changes and to follow the process.<br/><br/> - Attend Change Management Calls to represent changes and to get approval.<br/><br/> - Work with vendor support teams (like Cisco,F5, ISPs) and other Infra.
teams on Infrastructure related issues and get it resolved.
<br/><br/> - understanding of Enterprise switching environment and troubleshooting skills<br/><br/> - understanding of L2-L3/VLANs, switching stacks in Enterprise environment.<br/><br/> -should be a good team player and willing to adjust the work timings as required and be available for off-business hours change support activities.
<br/><br/><b>Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences : </b><br/><br/>-Good communication skills.<br/><br/> - Good knowledge & experience in Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco ASA or FTD<br/><br/> - Good knowledge & experience in Enterprise Routing in OSPF, BGP, VRFs<br/><br/> - Good knowledge & experience in Enterprise switching, Nexus switches, virtual switches, stack switches<br/><br/> - Basic knowledge & experience in F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM)<br/><br/> - Good knowledge over general Networking concepts like DHCP, DNS, IP Address management, NAT, IPSec VPN, NTP,SNMP is must<br/><br/> - Good debug/troubleshooting skills in general Enterprise Network environment.
<br/><br/><b>Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences : </b><br/><br/>- configuration scripting and automation capabilities.<br/><br/>(Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience.
