The ideal candidate will possess strong and proven expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, including report development, dashboard creation, and metadata modeling.
</p><p><br/></p><p>You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our Cognos reporting and analytics solutions to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
A solid understanding of SQL and data analysis principles is essential for success in this role.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and implement sophisticated reports and interactive dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Dashboard Designer, Analysis Studio).</p><br/><p>- Develop and maintain robust Framework Manager models and/or streamlined Data Modules to ensure accurate, efficient, and secure data access for all Cognos reporting.</p><br/><p>- Write and optimize complex SQL queries against various data sources.</p><br/><p>- Perform thorough data analysis to understand data structures, identify potential data quality issues, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of Cognos reporting outputs.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed reporting requirements, understand their analytical needs, and translate these into effective Cognos solutions.</p><br/><p>- Participate actively in the complete Cognos development lifecycle, encompassing design, development, rigorous testing, seamless deployment, and comprehensive documentation.</p><br/><p>- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cognos reports, dashboards, and data connectivity within the Cognos environment.</p><br/><p>- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance, performance tuning, and optimization of the Cognos Analytics platform.</p><br/><p>- Implement and maintain robust security measures within Cognos to ensure appropriate user access and data governance.</p><br/><p>- Stay informed about the latest features and best practices within the IBM Cognos Analytics ecosystem.</p><br/><p><b>Qualifications : </b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
