The ideal candidate will be an expert in the Magento 2 platform, with a deep understanding of its core architecture and the ability to design and develop complex e-commerce solutions.
This role is crucial for our transition to a headless commerce architecture, requiring significant experience in building and integrating custom REST/GraphQL APIs with modern Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain custom REST/GraphQL APIs for a headless frontend, ensuring seamless data flow for product catalogs, checkout processes, and user management.<br/><br/>- Lead and perform end-to-end Magento 2.x version upgrades, including code and module compatibility checks, data migration, and post-upgrade testing.<br/><br/>- Integrate the Magento platform with a wide range of external systems, including ERP, CRM, logistics providers, and payment gateways using custom modules and Magento's Web API.<br/><br/>- Write efficient, reusable, and secure Magento modules and services that strictly adhere to Magento's coding standards, leveraging concepts like dependency injection, service contracts, and repositories.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues within the Magento platform, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.<br/><br/>- Optimize the application for performance by tuning database queries, implementing caching strategies (Varnish, Redis), and utilizing performance monitoring tools.<br/><br/>- Utilize command-line interface (CLI) tools and Git for version control, code deployment, and collaboration within a team environment.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/>- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in Magento development.</p><br/>- A deep understanding of the Magento 2 framework, including its module structure, core architecture, and key business logic.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in PHP 7/8, with solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, and common design patterns.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in integrating Magento with external systems like ERPs and payment gateways.<br/><br/>- The ability to write and optimize MySQL queries.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with the Magento CLI, Composer, and Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with a headless commerce architecture and a modern frontend framework like React or Next.js.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of containerization using Docker.<br/><br/>- Magento 2 Certified Developer or other relevant certifications.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with performance optimization tools like New Relic or Blackfire.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
