<p><p>In our 'always on' world, we believe it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.<br/><br/><b>How You'll Help Us Connect The World :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about quality, thrives in challenging environments, and has strong analytical and debugging skills to help us deliver outstanding products to our customers.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Execute QA efforts across Access Points, Controllers, Cloud, On-Prem, and IoT projects, from feature inception to production release, ensuring end-to-end quality coverage.<br/><br/>- Optimize regression test plans for solution-centric execution to maximize efficiency, reduce redundancy, and ensure comprehensive coverage of integrated system use cases.<br/><br/>- Embrace AI-driven testing approaches to modernize QA processes, improve product quality, and enhance efficiency across automation, analytics, and defect prediction.<br/><br/>- Review Feature Requests (FR/PRED), Functional Specs (FS), and High-Level Designs (HLD) for testability and completeness.<br/><br/>- Prepare, review, and own comprehensive test plans, ensuring adequate coverage for functional, scale, regression, and solution testing.<br/><br/>- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks (preferably in Python) to ensure continuous quality.<br/><br/>- Perform in-depth debugging and root cause analysis for defects across multiple system layers (UI, backend, network protocols).<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality gates are met in CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Participate in performance and scalability testing to validate system behavior under stress.<br/><br/>- Drive test data preparation, environment setup, and tool creation for effective test execution.<br/><br/>- Mentor junior QA engineers and review their work to ensure quality and consistency.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Education : BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, or Networking.<br/><br/>- Experience : 3+ years in software quality assurance with hands-on Access Point (AP) device testing and integration in a controller-based environment, including functional, scale, and interoperability validation.<br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :<br/></b><br/>- Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data validation.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of networking concepts, Wi-Fi protocols, TCP/IP stack, and authentication systems (e., RADIUS, AAA).<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with QA tools like packet analyzers (e., Wireshark), Selenium, PyTest, JMeter, Postman, or equivalent.<br/><br/>- Practical usage of Jira for defect tracking and TestLink (or similar) for test management.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and API testing.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in debugging logs, packet captures, and system traces.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Experience in IoT device testing and integration.<br/><br/>- Exposure to AI/ML-driven QA approaches.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.<br/><br/><b>Why CommScope?</b><br/><br/>CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.<br/><br/>Our employees push the boundaries of communications technology that enables game-changing discoveries like 5G, the Internet of Things, and gigabit speeds for everyone, everywhere.<br/><br/>With our unmatched expertise in copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure, our global clients rely on us to outperform today and be ready for the needs of tomorrow.<br/><br/>RUCKUS Networks builds and delivers purpose-driven networks that perform in the demanding environments of the industries we serve.<br/><br/>Together with our network of trusted go-to-market partners, we empower our customers to deliver exceptional experiences to the guests, students, residents, citizens and employees who count on them.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
