The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/>- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/>- 5-7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.<br/><br/><b>Nice to Have :</b></p><p><br/>- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
