<p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><br/></p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Obtain and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and system requirements for Software Development and Testing teams.<br/><br/>- Define and document project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Prepare high-level design documentation based on business requirements.<br/><br/>- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless project execution.<br/><br/>- Manage resource availability, allocation, and utilization effectively across projects.<br/><br/>- Host weekly project meetings to review status, risks, dependencies, and blockers for all projects under management.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan with milestones, critical paths, and timelines to track progress for the team, stakeholders, and senior management.<br/><br/>- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within defined scope.<br/><br/>- Prepare and maintain communication documents such as project progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and executive presentations.<br/><br/>- Communicate project expectations clearly and consistently to stakeholders and team members.<br/><br/>- Use appropriate verification and tracking techniques (e.g., burndown charts, KPIs) to measure project performance.<br/><br/>- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and deliverables with structured change control.<br/><br/>- Identify and troubleshoot problems that arise during project execution.<br/><br/>- Escalate issues and risks promptly to senior management when necessary.<br/><br/>- Ensure quality controls through verification, testing, and adherence to QA standards.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the development of practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to strengthen the organizations project management maturity.<br/><br/><b>Candidate Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- 10+ years of experience in software development, design, or IT project management.<br/><br/>- 6+ years in a supervisory or leadership role, managing cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Solid technical background with strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or Hybrid).<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and database concepts.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software testing frameworks.<br/><br/>- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.<br/><br/>- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including documentation and presentation skills.<br/><br/>- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.<br/><br/>- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.<br/><br/>- Able to work creatively and analytically in a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.<br/><br/>- PMP, PRINCE2, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or other project management certifications are a strong plus.<br/><br/><b>Additional Technical Skills (Preferred) :</b><br/><br/>- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle).<br/><br/>- Exposure to Agile scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) for enterprise-level project management.<br/><br/>- Experience with data-driven decision-making and project KPIs/dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).<br/><br/>- Awareness of security and compliance standards relevant to software projects (e.g., ISO, GDPR, SOC2).<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
