Core duties and responsibilities

Handle customer interactions: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, chat, or social media.

Provide information: Answer questions about products, services, and company policies.

Resolve issues: Address and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, and process orders, returns, and refunds.

Maintain records: Keep detailed logs of customer interactions, feedback, and account information.

Escalate problems: Escalate complex issues or complaints to the appropriate internal teams for resolution.

Track metrics: Monitor and analyze customer service metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends.

Handle reviews: Respond to customer reviews on various platforms to manage brand reputation.

Essential skills and qualifications

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to be empathetic and professional.

Problem-solving: Ability to analyze issues and find appropriate solutions.

Technical proficiency: Basic computer and software skills, including experience with customer service software and MS Office.

Time management: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle a high volume of inquiries efficiently.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.

Experience: Previous customer service or call center experience is often preferred.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, while a bachelor's degree may be preferred.
