Job description

Role title: Cyber Security Practice Leader – India Region

Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Practice Leader to lead and scale our Cyber Security products and services business in India.

This leader will own revenue growth, client acquisition, and strategic expansion across key industries, while managing a high-performing sales team.

The role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity solution selling, strategic account management, and a proven ability to close large, complex deals.

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Growth & Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share for Cyber Security products and services in India.
  • Build and lead a sales team of Account Managers and Business Development professionals to execute GTM strategy.
  • Develop a 3–5 year roadmap for scaling the Cyber Security business, aligned with India’s market opportunities.
  • Sales Execution & Client Engagement

  • Own and achieve annual sales targets (revenue and order book) for Cyber Security offerings.
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships with key enterprise and government clients; position the company as a trusted partner for cybersecurity transformation.
  • Conceptualize and execute win strategies for large and strategic cybersecurity deals.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and closure of high-value deals.
  • Solutioning & Ecosystem Leverage

  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft winning proposals across Cyber Security domains (Network Security, Cloud Security, SOC, Identity & Access Management, Endpoint Security, Managed Security Services).
  • Leverage strong partnerships with leading OEMs, hyperscalers, and cybersecurity solution providers to strengthen client value propositions.
  • Identify and introduce new cybersecurity offerings and services relevant to the India market.
  • Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Monitor gross margins, CSAT, and profitability metrics for Cyber Security engagements.
  • Establish governance frameworks for client delivery, ensuring seamless execution of secured deals.
  • Partner with delivery leaders to ensure adherence to SLAs, budgets, and compliance requirements.
  • Job Specifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 15–20 years in IT Services & Solutions Sales, with at least 7–10 years in Cyber Security sales leadership roles in India.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving/overachieving quotas, with strong TCV contributions through large deal closures.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity domains, regulatory frameworks, and industry-specific security challenges (BFSI, Telecom, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Government, .
  • Strong solutioning and consultative sales skills, with ability to orchestrate multi-offering cybersecurity transformations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&L responsibilities, pipeline development, and high-performing sales teams.
  • Established CXO and partner ecosystem relationships in India’s cybersecurity landscape.
  • Strong experience working in matrix organizations and global delivery models.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Key Interfaces

  • Collaborate with Cyber Security Practice Leads, Pre-Sales & Delivery Heads for solutioning and execution.
  • Work with OEM/partner alliance teams to strengthen go-to-market plays.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, and Sales Ops for governance, compliance, and talent development.
  • Key Metrics (KPIs & KRAs)

  • Revenue & Order Book Growth – Cyber Security business in India.
  • Gross Margin & Profitability for Cyber Security engagements.
  • CSAT & NPS scores for Cyber Security clients.
  • Number and size of large Cyber Security deals closed.
  • Sales team performance, retention, and pipeline health.
  • Forecast accuracy (Revenue & GM).
