<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>About the Job : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and technically skilled Senior Network Engineer with 8-10 years of relevant experience to serve as a key technical leader in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's robust network infrastructure.
This role demands deep expertise across traditional and cloud networking domains.
You will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, scalability, and high availability of all network services (LAN/WAN, data center, cloud, and wireless).
The successful candidate will drive architectural decisions, mentor junior staff, and continuously optimize our network performance to support rapid business growth and mission-critical operations.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>As a Senior Network Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include : <br/><br/>- Architectural Design & Implementation : Lead the design, planning, and implementation of complex, multi-site LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks, ensuring solutions are scalable, redundant, and aligned with business objectives.<br/><br/>- Core Infrastructure Management : Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade routers, switches (Cisco/Juniper/Aruba), firewalls (Palo Alto/Cisco ASA/Fortinet), Load Balancers, and secure VPN solutions.<br/><br/>- Performance and Reliability : Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance using advanced tools, developing strategies and automation to ensure maximum uptime, low latency, and high reliability across the entire network footprint.<br/><br/>- Security & Compliance : Design, implement, and rigorously enforce network security protocols, including access control lists, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), security segmentation, and Zero Trust principles.
Ensure strict compliance with all internal security policies and external regulations.<br/><br/>- Advanced Troubleshooting : Serve as the final escalation point (Tier 3/4) for complex network issues, utilizing expert-level diagnostic skills and tools to quickly resolve service disruptions and perform root cause analysis (RCA).<br/><br/>- Cloud Networking : Lead the integration and management of network connectivity within multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS VPCs, Azure VNets), ensuring seamless, secure hybrid-cloud connectivity and optimization.<br/><br/>- Documentation & Standards : Create and maintain high-quality network documentation, including detailed high-level and low-level design diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and network inventory records, ensuring consistency and adherence to established best practices.<br/><br/>- Mentorship and Collaboration : Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network staff.
Collaborate effectively with IT Operations, Systems Engineering, and cross-functional business units to deliver integrated technology solutions.<br/><br/><b>Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/>- Experience : 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise network infrastructures.<br/><br/>- Core Networking Expertise : Expert-level knowledge of the TCP/IP stack, advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, Port-Channeling), and core services (DNS, DHCP, NTP).<br/><br/>- Security : Extensive, practical experience with enterprise firewall management (policy configuration, NAT, IPsec VPN tunnels) and network security best practices.<br/><br/>- Monitoring & Tools : Proficiency with network monitoring, logging, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SNMP tools, NetFlow/sFlow, ELK stack).<br/><br/>- Automation : Practical experience with network automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) to streamline configuration management and deployment.<br/><br/><b>Desired Qualifications & Certifications : </b><br/><br/>- Certifications (Highly Preferred) : Current or recent CCNP Enterprise/Security (or equivalent certifications such as JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, etc.).<br/><br/>- Cloud Networking (Strong Plus) : Hands-on experience with networking components in at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Networking).<br/><br/>- Operating Systems : Comfort with Linux/Unix command-line environments for network diagnostics and tool management.<br/><br/>- Soft Skills : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
