This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the companys enterprise AI roadmap .
The Senior AI Engineer will work with the AI strategy lead and cross-functional business teams to provide hands-on technical expertise to design, test and scale agreed AI use-cases and solutions.<br/><br/>This is a hands-on technical role with a strong emphasis on value-driven experimentation, custom GPT development, and scalable productionized AI solutions, primarily using ChatGPT Enterprise & Azure OpenAI services.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>A Senior AI Engineer is responsible for : <br/><br/>- Use ChatGPT Enterprise to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on custom GPTs tailored to specific use cases.<br/><br/>- Conduct Test & Evaluation (T&E) of each use case using defined success metrics to assess feasibility, value generation, and implementation complexity.<br/><br/>- Document outcomes, technical requirements, and learnings for further development phases.<br/><br/>- Work alongside the Cloud Specialist and DevOps Engineer to define the system architecture and pipeline integrations needed for enterprise-scale AI deployments.<br/><br/>- Translate AI technical requirements into design specs for UI and service components, guiding the Azure-based frontend/backend development process<br/><br/>- Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions using ChatGPT Enterprise & Azure OpenAI, ensuring compliance with performance, security, and data governance standards<br/><br/>- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks for advanced use cases requiring internal company knowledge integration.<br/><br/>- Optimize model performance, manage prompts, embeddings, vector databases, and feedback loops to improve outputs.<br/><br/>- Build reusable components and frameworks to enable rapid AI use case delivery across multiple departments.<br/><br/><b>Essential skills : </b><br/><br/>- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including NLP-focused development.<br/><br/>- Deep expertise in ChatGPT Enterprise , Azure OpenAI Service, including deployment of GPT models, embeddings, prompt engineering, and integration with enterprise systems.<br/><br/>- Experience building custom GPTs and leveraging tools like LangChain, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS), and RAG architectures.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to transition from prototype to production, with experience in DevOps/CI-CD workflows for ML pipelines.<br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in Python, including ML/NLP libraries such as OpenAI SDK, PyTorch, TensorFlow<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Azure tools : Azure ML, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, etc.<br/><br/><b>Desirable skills : </b><br/><br/>- Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Experience building enterprise-grade AI applications at scale.<br/><br/>- Understanding of AI compliance, data privacy, and model governance practices.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
