Key Responsibilities  
- Data Analysis & Reporting:  Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (e.g., web analytics, sales data, customer behavior) to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
 
 
- Performance Monitoring:  Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for eCommerce activities, including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, average order value, and more.
 
 
- A/B Testing:  Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize website performance, user experience, and marketing campaigns.
 
 
- Data Visualization:  Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
 
 
- Customer Insights:  Analyze customer data to understand behavior patterns, segment customers, and provide insights for targeted marketing and personalization strategies.
 
 
- Market & Competitor Analysis:  Conduct analysis of market trends and competitor performance to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
 
 
- Collaboration:  Work closely with the eCommerce, marketing, and product teams to align data insights with business objectives and drive cross-functional projects.
 
 
- Data Integrity:  Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all eCommerce systems.
 
 Document the flow of transactional and master data between systems to ensure a single source of truth of data and to identify inconsistencies.
 
 Make recommendations on appropriate data flows and input controls for key master data (customer and products data)
Required Skills & Qualifications  
- Educational Background:  Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but if you have mastered data without the degree and you meet the remaining requirements, apply.
 
 
- Experience:  2+ years of experience in data analysis within eCommerce (4-6 years of overall experience) 
- Technical Skills:  Proficiency in data analysis tools and software: 
- SQL 
- Advanced Excel 
- Tableau or similar  
- Data Architecture:  Understanding of data design, database schemas, data flows/ETL, and storage best practices.
 
 
- Analytical Thinking:  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable strategies.
 
 
- Attention to Detail:  High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data.
 
 
- Communication Skills:  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 
 
- Collaboration:  Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with various departments to achieve shared goals.
 
 
- Adaptability:  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
 
 
Nice to have:   
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce) 
- Google Analytics experience 
Certifications:  Relevant certifications in data analytics or digital marketing are advantageous.
 
Programming:  Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
