This senior role demands over 20 years of deep data engineering expertise and a clear focus on revenue recognition and profitability management.
You'll need proven skills in partnership development and direct accountability for practice build and delivery.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Define and execute the Data & AI practice strategy, identifying new market opportunities and expanding capabilities<br/><br/>- Lead business development, including pre-sales and solutioning<br/><br/>- Manage practice P&L, focusing on revenue recognition and profitability<br/><br/>- Provide expert guidance in data engineering (architecture, warehousing, ETL/ELT, data lakes, pipelines, governance)<br/><br/>- Stay current with AI/ML, big data, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)<br/><br/>- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure data solutions<br/><br/>- Actively explore and champion cutting-edge data and AI, especially Agentic AI-based automation<br/><br/>- Drive R&D to integrate new technologies and foster an innovation culture<br/><br/>- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with vendors and industry groups<br/><br/>- Collaborate on joint solutions and go-to-market strategies<br/><br/>- Represent the company at industry events<br/><br/>- Accountable for the successful delivery of all Data & AI projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality execution<br/><br/>- Implement robust project management and continuously improve delivery processes<br/><br/>- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists<br/><br/>- Foster a culture of learning and collaboration, implementing effective performance management<br/><br/><b>Must have skills :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- 20+ years in data engineering, significant time in leadership<br/><br/>- Proven experience designing and managing large-scale modern architecture data platforms<br/><br/>- Strong grasp of AI/ML concepts and business applications<br/><br/>- Track record of managing revenue recognition and profitability<br/><br/>- Exceptional skills in developing and managing strategic partnerships<br/><br/>- Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)<br/><br/>- Demonstrated interest and exposure to emerging AI, including Agentic AI and advanced automation<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Spark, Databricks, databases (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), ETL/ELT, and data Quality and governance<br/><br/>- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills<br/><br/>- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
