Project Overview : </b> Candidate will be working in Risk metrics team to analyze large pool of data belonging to Identity Access Management and drive analytics to reduce the risk exposure.<br/><br/><b>2.
Contractors Role : </b> The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible for using SQL and other programming languages to pull data from a variety source into a central data platform.
They must collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and use that to effectively structure datasets and develop metrics.
Data Engineer should be an expert in SQL and data modeling.
They must be a self-starter who is able to collaborate with team members and stakeholders, develop effective solutions, and present findings.<br/><br/><b>4.
Qualifications : </b> - Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field<br/><br/><b>5.
Must have skills : </b><br/><br/>- Minimum of 3 years of Data Engineering Experience is mandatory<br/><br/>- Must be an expert in SQL, Power BI python mandatory exp.
for 3yrs<br/><br/>- Must be an expert in data modeling<br/><br/>- Incorta experience is a plus<br/><br/>- Excellent oral and written communication skills<br/><br/>- Self-starter with analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills<br/><br/>- Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change<br/><br/>- Power BI<br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in languages such as SQL, Python<br/><br/>- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing, and dimensional modelling concept<br/><br/>- Familiarity with data governance, data security.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.<br/><br/><b>6.
Nice to Haves : </b><br/><br/>- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka<br/><br/>- Azure Databricks & Azure Cosmos DB<br/><br/>- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate is a plus.<br/><br/><b>7.
Tasks & responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data and metric requirements<br/><br/>- Pull data from a variety of sources into a central data platform<br/><br/>- Structure datasets and calculate metrics based on requirements<br/><br/>- Develop automated scripts to automate otherwise manual processes<br/><br/>- Communicate concerns and data findings as they arise to the appropriate team members or stakeholders<br/><br/>- Present data findings and solutions in a way that is easy for non-technical team members and stakeholders to understand<br/><br/>Note : Minimum 5 years hand-on experience in managing backup platforms (e.g., Cohesity, Dell Data Domain).
Financial Industry exposure will be preferred.
