<p><b>Role Overview : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support custom data automation and integration solutions between internal applications and third-party systems.<br/><br/> You will work closely with the Integration and Implementation teams to automate complex workflows, handle data mapping, and manage secure data exchanges via APIs and SFTP.<br/><br/>This role is critical to ensuring seamless client onboarding and system integrations across various enterprise platforms.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain custom data integration tools and automation scripts<br/><br/>- Build small-scale applications for automating payroll and benefits-related tasks<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain data connectors using RESTful APIs, SFTP, and custom scripts<br/><br/>- Collaborate with implementation teams to support integration with 3rd-party applications<br/><br/>- Analyze data mapping requirements and provide solutions for clean, accurate data transfer<br/><br/>- Communicate directly with clients and vendors to troubleshoot integration issues<br/><br/>- Generate and support complex Report Writer reports for internal and external stakeholders<br/><br/>- Ensure data security, validation, and audit compliance in all integration processes<br/><br/>- Participate in testing and validation of data pipelines and APIs during implementations<br/><br/>- Document workflows, integration standards, and best practices<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field<br/><br/>- 4-6 years of experience in data integration, automation, or application development<br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and Python<br/><br/>- Proficient in SQL for querying and data transformation<br/><br/>- Solid experience working with RESTful APIs for data exchange and integration<br/><br/>- Hands-on knowledge of Visual Studio and Azure cloud services<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of SFTP protocols and secure data transfers<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently<br/><br/>- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with US-based teams and clients</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
