Overall JD:
• Toconsult with Business and IT colleagues to lead understanding and improvementof the quality LPUK data
• To driveimprovements in data quality and data governance by monitoring data qualitymetrics and data quality improvement plans to deliver continuous improvementsto LPUK
• Tomanage master data sets, troubleshooting data issues, identifying patterns andcorrelations among the various data sources, proposing and where appropriateimplementing remediations and reporting progress
Data Quality Improvements
• Identify,analyse and record Data Quality issues
• Driveprogress on data quality improvements by influencing and working with businessstakeholders
• Provideprofessional guidance to colleagues on data quality management
Business Support
• Documentdata quality standards as agreed with the business – encompassing keyattributes, targets, rules and profiling results
• Supportbusiness and IT data remediation activities, advising on methodologies,preparing and implementing changes and production of metrics and result sets
Data Management
• Promotedata ownership and stewardship culture at LPUK
• Monitor,track and follow up Data Council actions with the business, identifying andresolving blockers and dependencies
Monitoring
• Lead theintroduction of Next Generation DataManagement tools including Trillium, Collibra, Tibco EBX & Power BI
• Defineand deliver data quality targets and monitoring approaches with the business
• Workwith colleagues in the wider Data team to replace the Qlikview Driver DQDashboard
DigiTAL Projects Support
• Assessdata for migration to new platforms –advising on data retention, quality, mappings etc.
Create comprehensive and professionalrequirements and project documentation
• Preparedatasets for migration including bulk remediation and transformation
Data Analysis
• Accessand query LP business applications and datamarts (legacy and Next Generation)to extract ad-hoc data sets as needed for analysis
• Identifydata mismatches and rule violations
• Identifypatterns highlighting attributes that are misused, repurposed or misunderstood
• Facilitatecleansing where appropriate, by undertaking, commissioning or supporting thework
Compliance to Data Regulations
• Ensurethat data retention (GDPR) and information security policies are adhered to inall project work
