Role: Data Scientist
About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Machine Learning and Deep learning knowledge and expertise in Python and SQL to join our growing data team.
You will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions to solve business problems, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights.
This role requires analytical thinking, business acumen, and hands-on technical skills.
Roles & Responsibility: -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, etc.) to understand business requirements and identify data opportunities
Extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of data using Python and SQL
Build and deploy machine learning models to support key business initiatives (e.g., classification, forecasting, recommendation systems)
Perform statistical analysis and A/B testing to measure the impact of features and changes
Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and visualizations
Continuously improve data pipelines, feature engineering, and model accuracy
Ensure data quality and integrity across systems
Desired Profile: -
Experience in both real time and batch pipelines for AIML based solutions
Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn, etc.)
Strong SQL skills, with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing performance
Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning algorithms and expertise in natural language processing (NLP)
Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Proficient in using AI coding assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate data analysis, machine learning, pipeline automation, and rapid prototyping across tools like PySpark, pandas, and TensorFlow.
Skilled at translating natural language into code for data science tasks, with attention to ethical considerations and validation of AI-generated code.
Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
Familiarity with tools like Airflow, or Docker
Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative coding
Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG
Work Experience:
4-5 years of hands-on experience in a data science or machine learning role with demonstrated history of delivering high impact solutions
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
