You will lead innovation in AI/ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI while building and scaling a world-class data science function.<br/><br/>As a Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist, you will :<br/><br/>- Architect, design, and productionise AI/ML solutions using Python-based frameworks.<br/><br/>- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, ML engineers & developers (1015 globally).<br/><br/>- Drive adoption of GenAI, LLM+RAG, and Agentic AI into real-world business products.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across India, UK, and US.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Partner with Product Engineering leadership to design and deliver AI-first digital platforms.<br/><br/>- Provide hands-on technical leadership in Python, PyTorch, Django/Flask, and scalable APIs.<br/><br/>- Own the end-to-end architecture and deployment of data science pipelines into live production.<br/><br/>- Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performance AI/ML team.<br/><br/>- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, open-weight models, Agentic AI) for practical adoption.<br/><br/>- Ensure robust testing, monitoring, and deployment of ML solutions in enterprise environments.</p><br/><p><b>Desired Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Python programming and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with GenAI, NLP, LLMs, and Computer Vision.<br/><br/>- Proven track record of deploying ML models to production.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of ML pipelines, data engineering, and MLOps best practices.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage C-level and business stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Ability to work with distributed teams across global time zones.</p><br/><p><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with Agentic AI techniques.<br/><br/>- Financial Services / Lending domain expertise.<br/><br/>- Background in both high-growth startups and large, global enterprises.</p><br/><p>Demonstrated expertise in :<br/><br/>- Managing and scaling teams (1015 members).<br/><br/>- Building and deploying end-to-end ML pipelines.<br/><br/>- Working directly with clients/products in Financial Services.<br/><br/>- Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).</p><br/><p><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors or Masters degree from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institution (IIT, BITS, IIIT, NIT, IISc, ISI, IIM for MBAs) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.<br/><br/>- Formal training in AI/ML technologies; Financial Services knowledge is an advantage</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
