Urgent! Data Support Engineer - ETL/Python Job Opening In Pune – Now Hiring Allianz
<p></p><p><b>The Role :</b><br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate should be a skilled L2/L3 Data Support Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on ETL and Data Warehousing in Azure.</p><p><br/></p><p>The candidate should also have good understanding of DevOps practices and ITIL will :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Monitor the daily data pipeline runs, ensure timely data loads by proactively identifying and troubleshooting issues.<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Perform RCA to identify the underlying causes of issues in the data warehouse and ETL pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document findings and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with various teams, including data engineers, DevOps Engineers, architects, and business analysts, to resolve issues and implement improvements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on issue resolution and system performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain detailed documentation of data warehouse configurations, ETL processes, operational procedures, and issue resolutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in an on-call rotation and operating effectively in a global 24-7 environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure data integrity and accuracy and take actions to resolve data discrepancies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Generate regular reports on system performance, issues, and Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience in building and maintaining pipelines in Azure Synapse or ADF (Azure Data Factory).<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support engineer role, preferably in data warehousing and ETL environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Programming skills T-SQL, Stored Procedures.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge around Data Models (3NF, Star & Snowflake, Data Vault, etc.) is good to have.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Basic understanding of financial accounting processes and familiarity with SAP systems will be a huge plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Its a huge plus if you are a Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Benefits :</b></p><p><br/></p>We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl.
