In this role, you will lead database development initiatives, focusing on DB2 UDB optimization, data migration, and performance tuning.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive process improvements to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient database Responsibilities :</b></p><br/>- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for DB2 UDB databases.<br/><br/>- Design and implement data migration strategies from DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.<br/><br/>- Lead database development projects from planning to deployment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.<br/><br/>- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.<br/><br/>- Identify and implement process improvements and automation within database Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).<br/><br/>- 69 years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on DB2 UDB.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval scripts.<br/><br/>- Experience in data migration from DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.<br/><br/>- Experience in the financial services or banking industry is highly desirable.<br/><br/>- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience leading database projects.<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication NCG :</b></p><p><br/>NetConnect Global (NCG) is a Great Place to Work Certified digital transformation and professional services company.
