Tech).<br/><br/></p><p> - Minimum of 8-12 years Sr Database experience as Architect, Engineer or App DBA.<br/><br/></p><p> - Experience with Infrastructure as Code skills, utilizing tools such as Terraform and Ansible for database operations.<br/><br/></p><p> - Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with configuration and utilization of GitLab/GitHub, preferably.<br/><br/></p><p> - 3-4 years of experience in provisioning databases on Kubernetes containers.<br/><br/></p><p> - Knowledge of IAM solutions, including CyberArk, Vault, Secrets Manager, etc.<br/><br/> <b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/> - Participate in a global team of Database Architects, Engineers, and Administrators.<br/><br/></p><p> - Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.<br/><br/></p><p> - Automate the provisioning and management of database infrastructure for Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other database engines.<br/><br/></p><p> - Provide hands-on technical support across various on-premises and cloud-based database offerings.<br/><br/></p><p> - Deploy configurations, database settings, parameters, patching, and tools on multiple instances using Ansible playbooks to manage database configurations, apply patches, and deploy necessary tools.<br/><br/></p><p> - Integrate Service Catalog of Service Now/First with Terraform and Ansible to automate requests.<br/><br/></p><p> - Provision databases on Kubernetes (Tanzu & EKS) containers using IaC.<br/><br/></p><p> - Integrate Terraform code repository with CI/CD Platform on Gitlab or GitHub.<br/><br/></p><p> - Utilize database monitoring technologies for on-premises and cloud-based databases, including SolarWinds, RDS Console, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Cloudera Manager, or custom scripts to </p><p>track performance metrics and detect issues.<br/><br/></p><p> - Provide experience with enterprise backup and recovery tools and techniques for full, incremental, online, offline, and transaction log backups.<br/><br/></p><p> - Collaborate with IT teams and business partners to identify and implement opportunities to improve database performance, reliability, scalability, and availability.<br/><br/></p><p> - Demonstrate willingness to contribute, learn, and grow as a member of a team that supports a variety of technologies.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
