The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience in data validation and performance tuning, and a solid understanding of database-driven application workflows.
Exposure to cloud platforms will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business-critical data across systems.
Implement data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
Support database operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and availability.
Work closely with application developers to support backend integration and database-driven features.
Analyze data issues, provide resolutions within defined timelines, and improve existing workflows.
Document database structures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
4 – 6 years of professional experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in SQL (Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or equivalent).
Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and quality management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to cloud databases or services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL, etc.).
Familiarity with incident tracking and monitoring tools (e.G., ServiceNow, Splunk).
Basic programming knowledge (Python, Java) for data workflows.
Key Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical issues to cross-functional teams.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with product, design, QA, and backend teams.
Proactive problem-solving approach and ability to manage complex navigation and framework challenges.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable applications.
