<p><p><b>About the Role : <br/></b><br/>We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Oracle Cloud SCM Functional Support Consultant to join our Enterprise Applications Cloud ERP practice at Datavail.
The role involves providing end-to-end functional support for Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, ensuring smooth business operations across Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management.
The ideal candidate will be adept at working in high-performance global environments, managing complex business requirements, and supporting critical production systems during US business hours.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>1.
Functional Support & Issue Resolution : <br/><br/></p><p>- Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle SCM Cloud modules, including Procurement, Inventory Management, and Order Management (OM).<br/><br/></p><p>- Analyze and resolve user tickets related to functional, data, or configuration issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reconciliations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform regression and patch testing to validate Oracle Cloud updates and ensure system stability post-deployment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Coordinate with technical teams for debugging issues that require development or integration intervention.<br/><br/>2.
Business Engagement & Requirement Analysis : <br/><br/></p><p>- Interact directly with business users, process owners, and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and pain points.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate business problems into functional specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document and maintain detailed records of ticket resolutions, business processes, and configuration changes.<br/><br/>3.
System Configuration & Enhancements : <br/><br/></p><p>- Configure Oracle Cloud SCM modules to meet evolving business needs and process improvements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in enhancement projects, change requests, and impact analysis for business process transformations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Oracle Support to raise Service Requests (SRs) and track issue resolutions efficiently.<br/><br/>4.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement : <br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to the testing and validation of new functionalities, patches, and updates in the Oracle Cloud environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements or automation opportunities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, audit standards, and data integrity requirements.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- 6+ years of functional support experience in Oracle Cloud SCM applications.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in at least two of the following modules : <br/><br/></p><p>i.
Procurement (Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing)</p><p><br/></p><p>ii.
Inventory Management<br/><br/></p><p>iii.
Order Management (OM)<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in handling incident management, change requests, and system testing.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Supply Chain business operations, workflows, and data dependencies.<br/><br/>- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.<br/><br/>- Strong business communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with global stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Must be willing to work in night shifts (US EST hours : 9 AM 5 PM EST).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
