<p><p><b>Role Overview :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Oracle Cloud Technical to join our Enterprise Applications Cloud ERP practice.<br/><br/>The role requires deep technical expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP (SaaS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, and custom application development (APEX, VBCS).<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT to deliver high-quality technical solutions including integrations, conversions, extensions, reports, and custom applications.<br/><br/>This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>Technical Solution Delivery :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and implement technical components for Oracle Cloud ERP including conversions, reports, interfaces, and extensions (RICE components).<br/><br/>- Build and maintain OIC-based integrations between Oracle Cloud and external/third-party systems.<br/><br/>- Develop custom solutions and extensions using Oracle APEX and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).<br/><br/>- Configure and customize reports using BI Publisher and OTBI extracts.<br/><br/>- Perform data conversions from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud ERP, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performance.<br/><br/><b>Implementation & Support :</b><br/><br/>- Support Oracle Cloud ERP implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing root cause analysis and long-term fixes.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Oracle Support to resolve escalated issues.<br/><br/>- Work with IT teams to ensure data security, backup, and recovery strategies are in place.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :</b><br/><br/>- Engage with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.<br/><br/>- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.<br/><br/>- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and deployment guides.<br/><br/>- Provide user training and support to business teams post go-live.<br/><br/><b>Quality & Governance :</b><br/><br/>- Ensure all developments align with best practices, Oracle Cloud guidelines, and organizational standards.<br/><br/>- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design reviews, and code walkthroughs.<br/><br/>- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize Oracle Cloud ERP usage for better performance and user experience.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Strong technical expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP implementations and customizations.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for real-time and batch integrations.<br/><br/>- Advanced skills in BI Publisher, OTBI, and data extracts.<br/><br/>- Experience with data migration tools, conversion scripts, and validation methods.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Oracle APEX and VBCS for application extensions.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of PL/SQL, web services (SOAP/REST APIs), and XML technologies.<br/><br/>- Proven ability in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution.<br/><br/>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience in client-facing consulting roles.<br/><br/>- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Oracle ERP Cloud Technical Certification (OIC, APEX, VBCS, or BI Publisher).<br/><br/>- Experience in multi-application integration landscapes (ERP, HCM, CX, third-party tools).<br/><br/>- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of data security, identity management, and cloud governance principles<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
