<p></p><p><b>Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p><b>Application Development :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using .NET Core.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</p><br/><p>- Develop and integrate APIs that support seamless retail operations.</p><br/><p><b>Cloud Architecture & Azure Solutions :</b></p><br/><p>- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.</p><br/><p>- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.</p><br/><p>- Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.</p><br/><p><b>DevOps & CI/CD :</b></p><br/><p>- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating the build, test, and deployment processes.</p><br/><p>- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM Templates or Terraform.</p><br/><p>- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment practices are in place to support high-quality software delivery.</p><br/><p><b>Data Engineering & Analytics (Databricks) :</b></p><br/><p>- Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, optimizing data flow and transformation processes for analytics and reporting.</p><br/><p>- Work closely with data teams to ensure data is accessible, secure, and well-integrated across systems.</p><br/><p>- Leverage Databricks and Azure Data Lake for big data processing and real-time analytics.</p><br/><p><b>Retail Technology Expertise :</b></p><br/><p>- Apply deep understanding of retail operations, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and customer engagement platforms.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with retail business goals.</p><br/><p><b>Gift Card Registry (Plus) :</b></p><br/><p>- Utilize experience in gift card registry systems to develop and enhance gift card functionality, including integration with retail platforms, reporting, and data management.</p><br/><p><b>Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p><b>Experience :</b></p><br/><p>- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core, Azure, DevOps, and Databricks.</p><br/><p>- Strong experience in retail technology is required, particularly with retail platforms, POS systems, and inventory management.</p><br/><p>- Gift card registry experience is a strong plus.</p><br/><p><b>Technical Skills :</b></p><br/><p>- Expertise in .NET Core and C# for building scalable web applications and services.</p><br/><p>- In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Storage.</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, releases, and infrastructure automation.</p><br/><p>- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing, ETL, and big data analytics.</p><br/><p>- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</p><br/><p><b>Additional Skills :</b></p><br/><p>- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</p><br/><p>- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</p><br/><p>- Retail industry knowledge, with an understanding of modern retail challenges and solutions.</p><br/><p><b>Education :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p><br/><p>- Masters degree is a plus</p><br/><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
