Job overview and responsibilities

We’re seeking a full-stack developer responsible for developing mission-critical applications while working with a team of developers to support our Technical Operations (TechOps) business unit.

You will work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization, constantly pushing boundaries.

The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.

The full-stack developer will join a team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering exceptional experiences for our technicians.

• Full stack developer working on critical frameworks, core business capabilities, and modernization of legacy services as applications are migrated to the cloud
• Participate & contribute to application design discussions
• Develop, document, test, and debug new and existing critical software systems and/or applications with a focus on continuous improvement
• Develop advanced web applications using React, Redux, Javascript, .NET (6/7), .NET Core, C#, Web API, MVC and both SQL and No-SQL databases
• Ensure regulatory compliance requirements are addressed (, PCI, PII, GDPR)
• Ensure security requirements are addressed
• Demonstrate an innovative mentality by staying aware of new developments within the technology space and identifying which technologies to adapt to provide value to our business.


• Ensure timely commitments, pass unit testing, and meet functional and non-functional requirements.


• Support enterprise quality assurance teams.


• Work closely with team members in an agile development environment where continuous integration and delivery are critical.


• Support, maintain, and document software functionality.

Identify, evaluate, and learn new technologies for implementation.


• Size and estimate development efforts.

Define and manage development build plans.


• Analyze and refactor code periodically to keep it up to standards.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field and at least 3 years of equivalent work experience required.


• Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience with front-end and .NET technologies in enterprise systems with high availability and performance requirements
• Experience with Angular, React JS, .NET (6 /7), .NET core, C#, Web API, MVC, , CI/CD,and SQL.

Experience/Understanding of services and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Familiarity with AWS/cloud technologies.
• Solid understanding of SQL and API development.
• Knowledge/Understanding of Software Design Principals and Patterns .


• Familiarity with security principles: authentication, authorization, OAUTH, SAML, public-private key encryption, asymmetric encryption, symmetric encryption, token validation, encoding, single sign-on.


• Ability to work with team members in high-performance, agile development environments where continuous integration and continuous delivery are critical.


• Experience with end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity (and/or Harness).


• Knowledgeable with microservices and how they are applied in a cloud environment.


• Data-driven analysis, good communication skills, quantitative reasoning, and a strong desire to learn and implement new technologies.


• Good written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and management, capable of successful formal and informal communication, speaks and writes clearly and understandably at the right level.


• Support, maintain, and document software functionality.


• Identify evaluate and learn new technologies for implementation.


• Analyze and refactor code periodically to keep it up to standards.


• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.


• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Interest in learning AWS technologies
• Experience with version control systems (Git)

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• Knowledge of TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GitHub and version control systems.
• Familiarity with application security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on highly scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience with foundational AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudTrail, CloudFront, Lambda, EKS, ECS, etc.)
• Understanding of serverless technologies
• Experience with cloud security controls, DevSecOps and CICD pipelines
• Familiar with implementing and integrating with regulatory compliance requirements (, PCI, PII, GDPR).


• AWS Certification.


• Airline experience preferred but not required.
