What youll do We are seeking for a Consultant to join our Commerce Practice team.

The consultant requires a blend of strong analytical, communication, problem solving and business skills.

Successful candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in technologies necessary to work within the Oracle Retail Point of Sale/XStore product suite.

Develop technical expertise in implementation of Oracle XStore Point of Sale systems Develop and test artifacts in the implementation arena of data conversion, integration and product customization Apply relevant Oracle methodologies and best practices in order to implement Oracle Retail products and technology to meet customer specifications Follow standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and data and deliver technical solutions on applications and technology installations Structure and perform analysis, and conduct primary research, to uncover the insights that support our recommendations to clients Continuously develop depth and breadth of Retail domain knowledge Develop presentation and client leadership skills Present at team and client meetings, and determine the most practical way to drive lasting results based on insights Contribute to your practice area through identification and creation of implementation focused deliverables Leverage and enhance existing business processes to implement Retail Solutions Facilitate the logging, reporting and resolution of product related issues Complete required weekly administrative tasks including, individual status report and time and expense entry What youll bring Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Engineering or any equivalent degree or experience Technical Skill required - SQL, PL/SQL , Unix shell Scripting, Oracle Forms, JAVA/J2EE, Pro*C, HTML, Xstore framework, Sybase Power Designer, ER Win, ODI, SOAP, XML, Struts, ADF, Web services, JSP, EJB, JS, Junit, JSF, EXT JS, OPOS, Jasper, Jpos, TOAD, SQL Server, Oracle App.

Server, Nexus, BigFix, Java/J2EE, Spring, JMS, MDB (Message Driven Bean), TomCat App.

Server, Jenkins, J-Xplorer, Appworx, Hibernate, Spring, Tapestry 4.1, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Cloudwatch etc.), SOA Solid technical skills in Java, Swing, EJB, JSP, Struts, Spring framework, SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Database A proactive nature and high attention to detail and ability to work as a team-player Expertise in application and database performance tuning Experience in implementing Oracle Micros XStore POS and configuration experience Experience in Integrating point of sale systems with Oracle E-Commerce Systems, Oracle Store inventory management (ORSIM), Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) Experience working for a retailer Certification in Oracle Technologies would be a plus Knowledge of Oracle ADF would be a plus Why work with us?
