Come join us The RoleWe seek a skilled Software Engineer II (Java) to join our dynamic team, which is responsible for building and maintaining scalable data ingestion and processing systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to developing robust, high-performance solutions that process millions of documents per month.

While the primary focus is on Java, we value candidates with experience in Python or a willingness to learn and contribute to Python-based projects as needed.

What You'll Do Integrate and automate various data providers, provide insights, and manage complex data processes.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines to process large volumes of documents efficiently and reliably.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate requirements into technical specifications and system designs.

Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.

Implement best data ingestion, storage, and processing practices to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Contribute to Python-based projects, particularly in areas where integration between Java and Python systems is required.

Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Java and Python development, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our data ingestion and processing capabilities.

Continuously evolve the technical maturity and ability of the organization by applying new technology, and practices, and staying up-to-date with emerging trends to propose innovative solutions.

Follow the engineering processes, DevOps practices, and trends inside the company (monitoring, alerting, performance optimization, integration testing, design documentation) and make sure the teams improve related knowledge as well Candidate RequirementsMust-Have Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Development with proficiency in the Java ecosystem.

Experience with Spring-based applications.

Solid understanding of data structures, and algorithms.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Ability to write high-quality code and tests for scalable, reliable, and distributed systems.

Willingness to work with Python and contribute to Python-based projects as needed.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to have Hands-on experience in Java17 or beyond with concepts like multi-threading.

Experience with microservices architecture and software design principles.

Proficiency in Python and experience with related frameworks (e.G., Django, Flask, FastAPI).

Working knowledge of any cloud service provider(preferably AWS) Familiar with IAC technologies such as Terraform and Crossplane.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.

Exposure to NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
