<p>Job Overview : <br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in DevOps tools and practices, with a strong focus on automation, security, reliability, and performance.
You will play a key role in enhancing our platform operations and delivery by providing technical leadership and working closely with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities : <br/><br/>- Collaborate with operations and development teams to ensure platform reliability and performance.<br/><br/>- Participate in the end-to-end software lifecycle : from design and estimation through development and ongoing support.<br/><br/>- Improve operational processes through automation and cost-effective process enhancements.<br/><br/>- Provide proactive support and monitoring for production environments.<br/><br/>- Drive technical leadership and enable team members to adopt DevOps best practices.<br/><br/>- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues, performing in-depth root cause analysis.<br/><br/>- Automate application deployment and environment management for client applications.<br/><br/>- Lead and contribute to projects focused on AWS, DevOps, and monitoring implementation.<br/><br/>Required Qualifications & Skills : <br/><br/>- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on AWS.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, solution strategy, and implementation.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and configuration on AWS (certifications are a plus).<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Proficient in scripting using Shell and Python.<br/><br/>- Experience in Linux-based environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).<br/><br/>- Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for provisioning, configuration, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or CruiseControl.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with version control systems like GitHub, Bitbucket, or SVN.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven and Gradle.<br/><br/>- Experience using project management and documentation tools like JIRA and Confluence.<br/><br/>- Exposure to load balancers/CDNs such as F5, HAProxy, and Akamai CDN is a plus.<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS Kinesis Data Firehose is an added advantage.<br/><br/>Why Join Us?<br/><br/>- Opportunity to work on modern cloud infrastructure and tools.<br/><br/>- Collaborative, remote-friendly work culture.<br/><br/>- A platform to contribute technical leadership and shape DevOps best practices.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
