<p><b>DevOps Engineer (AWS)</b><br/><br/>Experience : 3-6 Years<br/><br/>Location : Bangalore (HSR Layout -2) <br/><br/>Employment Type : Full-Time<br/><br/><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and programming.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a solid understanding of cloud-based architectures, and experience implementing and managing AWS services.
</p><p><br/></p><p>This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive the efficiency, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure and applications.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>AWS Cloud Infrastructure Management</b><br/><br/>- Design, deploy, and manage AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, EMR (transient and persistent), Redshift, AWS Transfer Gateway, Lambda, Glue Jobs, IAM Roles and Policies, Athena, SageMaker, and Serverless applications.<br/><br/>- Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.<br/><br/><b>Automation and Programming</b><br/><br/>- Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline operations, manage infrastructure, and integrate AWS services.<br/><br/>- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.<br/><br/><b>DevOps Practices :</b><br/><br/>- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline to automate deployment processes.<br/><br/>- Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance using AWS services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.<br/><br/><b>Machine Learning Operations :</b><br/><br/>- Support SageMaker and ML job pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.<br/><br/>- Optimize data processing workflows using Glue Jobs and Athena.<br/><br/>- Security and Compliance<br/><br/>- Configure and enforce AWS IAM roles and policies to maintain a secure environment.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with best practices for AWS cloud security and cost management.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- 3-6 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.<br/><br/>- Expertise in Python and Shell scripting for automation and integration.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, EMR (transient and persistent), Redshift, AWS Transfer Gateway, Lambda, Glue Jobs, IAM Roles and Policies, Athena, Serverless architectures, and SageMaker.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in AWS networking (e.g., VPC, subnets, security groups, route tables).<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems in AWS.<br/><br/>- Experience in managing ML pipelines and processing big data workflows.<br/><br/>- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Knowledge of serverless architectures and tools like AWS Lambda and API Gateway.<br/><br/>- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with cost management and optimization strategies in AWS.<br/><br/>- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira.<br/><br/><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
