<p><p><b>Senior DevOps Engineer</b><br/><br/><b>Experience : 5+yrs</b><br/><br/><b>Location : Pune (Hybrid)</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a skilled <b>Senior DevOps Engineer</b> to join our dynamic DevOps team.</p><p><br/></p><p>As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing our continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies.
</p><p><br/></p><p>You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery processes.
</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps methodologies, automation tools, AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud technologies, and a passion for improving development :</b><br/><br/>- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as aws-CDK, and CloudFormation, to provision and manage cloud resources.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor and maintain production infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Investigate and resolve technical issues.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop scripts to automate visualization.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.</p><br/><p><b>Must-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as <b>Jenkins, GitHub Actions</b>.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Hands-on experience on <b>AWS Cloud Platform</b>.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with infrastructure as code <b>(IaC) using aws-cdk, Expertise in <b>Linux system administration</b> and Knowledge of <b>networking concepts and protocols</b>.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent <b>problem-solving and communication skills</b>.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</p><br/><p><b>Good-to-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda or SLS.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of RDS/Database : NoSQL, MySQL, SQL, DynamoDB<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation challenges.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Certification in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).</p><br/><p><b>Could-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Familiarity with other AWS Cloud platforms Security & Governance Tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services like API Gateway, IoT Core, Greengrass.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Infrastructure services like LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Governance & Security of DevOps Tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with infrastructure cost optimization strategies.</p><br/><p><b>Education and Experience :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud infrastructure engineering role.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working in agile development environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
