<p><p><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience to support our cloud migration initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in migrating applications from AWS to GCP, with strong knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps tools, and CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Lead or support the migration of applications from AWS to GCP (Lift & Shift, Re-Platform, Re-Architect approaches)<br/><br/>- Work with GCP services, especially GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and GCP SDK<br/><br/>- Perform application assessments to determine migration readiness<br/><br/>- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to support build and deployment processes<br/><br/>- Collaborate with development teams using Java, .NET, or Python<br/><br/>- Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure performance post-migration<br/><br/>- Ensure security, scalability, and reliability throughout the migration process<br/><br/><b>Required Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Proven experience in cloud migration projects (AWS to GCP)<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with GKE, GCP SDK, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)<br/><br/>- Strong programming/scripting knowledge in Java, .NET, or Python<br/><br/>- Familiarity with application assessment tools and methodologies<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of DevOps best practices<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)<br/><br/>- Experience in re-architecting legacy applications for cloud-native platforms<br/><br/>- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
