<p><p><b>Role Overview : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps & Security team.
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about automating secure software delivery, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, and working with modern cloud-native tools.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate security tools and practices into the DevOps pipeline (CI/CD)<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate infrastructure and application security checks using tools like SonarQube, OWASP ZAP, Trivy, Snyk, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor application and infrastructure security using SIEM, WAF, and log monitoring tools<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform container security hardening (Docker, Kubernetes)<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with security standards (OWASP Top 10, CIS Benchmarks, etc.)<br/><br/></p><p>- Assist in threat modeling, code scanning, and risk assessments<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with the latest security threats, patches, and best practices<br/><br/><b>Required Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Basic understanding of DevOps and security principles (DevSecOps)<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cloud platforms : AWS / Azure / GCP<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience or understanding of Linux systems, scripting (Bash/Python)<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, code analysis tools, and security best practices<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills<br/><br/><b>Preferred (Good to Have) : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Certification : AWS Certified Security / DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or similar<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of tools like SonarQube, Nessus, Aqua Security, HashiCorp Vault, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Prior internship or academic projects in DevSecOps or cybersecurity<br/><br/><b>Eligibility : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field<br/><br/></p><p>- Freshers or candidates with 02 years of experience in DevOps/Security/Cloud<br/><br/><b>Perks & Benefits : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Work on modern DevSecOps toolchains and real-world cloud security projects<br/><br/></p><p>- Learn from experienced DevOps and cybersecurity professionals<br/><br/></p><p>- Training support and access to internal learning resources<br/><br/></p><p>- 5-day work week, flexible working hours<br/><br/></p><p>- Health insurance, paid leaves, and other benefits (as per company policy)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
