The Opportunity

Digit88 is in the process of scaling a specialized offshore product development unit for its US-centered

partner.

This unit focuses on creating integrated multi-platform experiences that traverse various

strategies, mediums, and technologies.

This is particularly advantageous for ABM (Account-Based

Marketing) and demand generation teams.

The prospective candidate will join an established team,

contributing to its growth.

They will play a key role in advancing the development and deployment of

innovative applications that facilitate global consumer interaction and conversation management for our

clients.

We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer with experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to

join our team.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing robust and scalable applications

using Java Spring Boot framework, as well as have a strong understanding of cloud computing principles

and experience working with AWS services.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle

(SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, with a minimum of 6-9 years of experience in

software development.

Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications.

To be successful in this role, you should possess

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a Java developer with strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework.

● Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.

● Familiarity with cloud-native application development principles and practices.

● Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.

● Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

● Experience with RESTful web services and microservices architecture.

● Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

● Experience with version control systems such as Git.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Roles and responsibilities

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

● Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

● Implement security and data protection measures.

● Integrate AWS services into applications, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.

● Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

● Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Good to have AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions

Architect).

● Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

● Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

● Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Additional Project/Soft Skills:

● Should be able to work independently with India & US based team members.

● Strong verbal and written communication with ability to articulate problems and solutions over

phone and emails.

● Strong sense of urgency, with a passion for accuracy and timeliness.

● Ability to work calmly in high pressure situations and manage multiple projects/tasks.

● Ability to work independently and possess superior skills in issue resolution.
