Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and creative Instructional Design Manager to lead the development of high-impact digital learning experiences.
This role demands a blend of instructional design expertise, leadership acumen, and a passion for learner-centric innovation.
You will oversee end-to-end learning design initiatives, mentor a team of designers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, engaging, and measurable learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Design Leadership
- Lead the design and development of digital and blended learning programs aligned with business goals and learner needs.
- Conduct advanced learning needs analysis and performance gap assessments.
- Champion the use of instructional design models (e.G., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to ensure pedagogical rigor.
- Oversee storyboarding, content architecture, and multimedia integration for self-paced and instructor-led formats.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Manage and mentor a team of instructional designers and content developers.
- Collaborate with SMEs, business leaders, and multimedia teams to translate complex concepts into impactful learning assets.
- Drive quality assurance through peer reviews, feedback loops, and continuous improvement practices.
- Partner with marketing and L&D teams to support course rollout, learner engagement, and adoption strategies.
Tools, Technology & Innovation
- Guide the use of authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and others.
- Ensure robust documentation, version control, and asset management across learning projects.
- Contribute to the development of ILT and virtual classroom materials, integrating modern learning technologies and platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–9 years of progressive experience in instructional design, digital learning, or eLearning development.
- Proven ability to lead learning design projects and manage cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in instructional design frameworks, adult learning theory, and learner experience design.
- Proficiency in authoring tools and multimedia platforms.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple priorities.
