Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Personal Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred;
candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible - 10+ years of hands-on engineering experience
- Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Java based technology space
- Knowledge on CI/CD principals
- Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence
Must-Have Skills
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Java applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot for high-availability systems.
- Support the design, deployment, and integration of distributed microservice architectures.
- Architect and manage secure, cost-optimized AWS (or any other cloud) solutions leveraging native services.
- Build and maintain high-throughput event streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka.
- Deploy, scale, and monitor containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
- Take part in Agile ceremonies
