<p><p><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/></p><p>IT Infrastructure Lead will oversee and manage the design, implementation, and optimization of our IT infrastructure.

This role involves driving automation initiatives, ensuring system reliability, and leading a team to support and maintain scalable IT infrastructure solutions.

The IT Infrastructure Lead will lead a team responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting infrastructure components, implementing best practices.Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure, driving cross-functional collaboration, and applying industry-leading methodologies are Responsibilities : Management : </b></p><p><br/></p>- The IT Infrastructure Lead must be proficient in various network technologies for both Datacenter and edge (store and warehouses) locations, including LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Switches, SD-WAN, MPLS, and IPSec VPNs, and be able to select the most suitable solutions to meet the organizations needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in dynamic routing protocols like OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).

Additionally, familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, technologies such as Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), VTP (VLAN Trunking Protocol),<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to design wireless networks (Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) to ensure optimal coverage and performance, including the deployment of WLAN controllers, access points, and the use of heat maps to troubleshoot and optimize wireless.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in hybrid cloud networking, managing secure connections between on-premise infrastructure and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud),<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage physical and virtual server environments (Windows/Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix farm), SAN fabric and Dell/HPE storage devices (snapshots ,data replication, RAID groups etc)<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure high availability, backup solutions (Commvault , Dell data domain) , disaster recovery (RPO/RTO), and business continuity strategies are effective and tested.<br/><br/></p><p>- Plan and manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.<br/><br/></p><p>- The IT Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for overseeing the remediation of vulnerabilities identified through Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) coordinating with relevant teams in a timely and effective manner.<br/><br/></p><p>- Should have knowledge in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications within Kubernetes environments, including cluster management and integration with CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery while ensuring high availability and optimal performance of containerized Excellence : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Should be familiar with Manage Engine ManageEngine OpManager (OPM) for real-time monitoring of network devices, servers, and IT infrastructure components; responsibilities include configuring performance monitors, setting up thresholds and alerts, customizing dashboards and reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent to enhance system/network team productivity and minimize recurring failure tickets.<br/><br/></p><p>- Manage IT asset lifecycle and vendor relationships (hardware, : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Lead the IT infrastructure team (network engineers, system and backup administrators).Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.<br/><br/></p><p>- Serve as a subject matter expert for technology architecture and best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new infrastructure technologies, tools, and platforms from evaluation to pilot implementation to support innovation and continuous & Communication : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Work cross-functionally with application, security, and service desk teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with other IT teams and business units to understand needs and deliver appropriate solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide clear reporting to senior leadership on infrastructure health and initiatives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead incident response for major infrastructure issues and ensure root cause analysis is : and Experience : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT administration, with a focus on Network, systems,storage, backup, and datacenter Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience with Networking (Firewalls , Switches , WAN/LAN , MPLS , SD-WAN, IPSec)<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including power, cooling, and security.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
