The ideal candidate has a solid background in Node.js development, cloud-native architectures, and serverless computing on AWS.
You will design, develop, and deploy distributed systems that power high-performance applications, leveraging services such as AWS Lambda and SQS, with hands-on experience in Elasticsearch for search and analytics.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Roles & Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and implement serverless applications and event-driven systems using Node.js and AWS services (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway )</p><p><br/></p><p>- Build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs</p><p><br/></p><p>- Integrate with Elasticsearch for search and analytics capabilities.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness in the cloud.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentorship of junior developers.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure application reliability.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.</p><p><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Node.js development.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong experience with AWS cloud services, especially Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Practical experience in serverless architecture and event-driven design patterns.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working with Elasticsearch for search and data indexing.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React.js or Vue.js will be an advantage.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Serverless Framework will be an advantage.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with application performance monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>What will you learn on this job?</b></p><p><br/></p><p>This position offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in serverless development on AWS, event-driven systems, and Elasticsearch, while gaining exposure to front-end frameworks and collaborating with a cross functional team to deliver scalable, high-quality : </b>Software Development Engineer, II</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Working Hours : </b>1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Location :</b> Ecoworld, Bengaluru, Karnataka</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
