This role requires a dynamic Single Point of Contact (SPoC) adept at bridging communication between clients and technical development teams.
The manager will leverage a unique blend of technical and managerial expertise to oversee the entire project lifecycle, focusing on developing detailed project plans, mitigating technical risks, ensuring adherence to payment schedules, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.<br/><br/><b>Job Description:</b> <br/><br/><b>Project Planning and Technical Execution Management:</b> <br/><br/>- Develop comprehensive and detailed project plans, clearly defining timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.<br/><br/>- Coordinate all project activities, resources, and tasks to ensure timely execution and delivery, strictly adhering to project plans and client requirements.<br/><br/>- Track progress rigorously against the plan and proactively make necessary adjustments to scope, schedule, or resources to manage project variance.<br/><br/>- Take responsibility for identifying, assessing, and actively mitigating potential project risks, including technical implementation challenges and timeline delays.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with the development team to estimate the complexity and time required for technical tasks, ensuring deadlines are met across the board.<br/><br/><b>Client Liaison and Stakeholder Communication:</b> <br/><br/>- Act as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for clients, leading technical discussions, presenting design concepts, and gathering precise feedback on requirements.<br/><br/>- Facilitate clear, unambiguous communication between business stakeholders/clients and the development team to ensure mutual understanding of requirements, technical feasibility, and design iterations.<br/><br/>- Monitor all Project Deliverables and Payment schedules, ensuring successful delivery aligns with financial milestones and contractual obligations.<br/><br/>- Lead the effort to gather and document detailed requirements, oversee development and testing phases, manage user training, and finalize documentation.<br/><br/><b>Documentation and Technical Governance:</b> <br/><br/>- Ensure all project technical documentation is clear, accurate, and kept up-to-date, including critical documents like API documentation, system design specifications, and architecture decisions.<br/><br/>- Maintain and update specific technical documentation related to front-end components, libraries, and frameworks used throughout the project lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Verify that the technical implementation aligns precisely with the approved design concepts and functional requirements.<br/><br/>- Ensure adherence to Bank Policies and Procedures and support the achievement of the Divisions overall strategy.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications:</b> <br/><br/>- Experience: Mandatory 15+ years of professional experience.<br/><br/>- Certification: PMP/Prince2 Certification Mandatory.<br/><br/>- Education: B.Tech/MCA with MBA.<br/><br/>- Management: Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, documentation, training).<br/><br/>- Technical Acumen: Strong technical foundation to effectively bridge communication between clients and development teams.<br/><br/>- Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project and technical risks.<br/><br/>- Communication: Excellent presentation and negotiation skills for effective client interaction</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
