<p><b>Principal Accountabilities : </b><br/><br/>- Develop and deliver automation software for enhancing the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms.<br/><br/>- Design, architect, and implement self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring, and alerting platforms and tools.<br/><br/>- Automate software development, testing, and deployment processes through robust CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Integrate security standards such as SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and OWASP Top 10 best practices into application and infrastructure development.<br/><br/>- Monitor and secure applications using GCP Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, VPNs, ZTNs, and DMZ architectures.<br/><br/>- Maintain and secure APIs and reverse proxies using Apache and Nginx.<br/><br/><b>Work Dimensions : </b><br/><br/>- Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure services, particularly on AWS and GCP (hands-on experience in at least one is essential).<br/><br/>- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate provisioning and configuration.<br/><br/>- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and leverage services such as AWS Fargate and GCP Cloud Run.<br/><br/>- Design and manage high-availability and scalable cloud systems, integrating Cloud DNS and security configurations for global traffic handling.<br/><br/>- Introduce and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive innovation, particularly in commerce platforms.<br/><br/>- Implement observability and analytics using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and maintain logs for audit and monitoring.<br/><br/>- Manage SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB Atlas, Redis Cache, and MySQL for scalable data architecture.<br/><br/>- Manage machine learning model hosting and maintenance on GPU-based machines, ensuring availability and performance.<br/><br/>- Work with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, and Maven to maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Deploy and manage WordPress environments, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.<br/><br/><b>Work Context : </b><br/><br/>- Operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, and entrepreneurial setting.<br/><br/>- Demonstrate collaboration and adaptability in learning new technologies.<br/><br/>- Ensure full legal and ethical compliance in all business conduct.<br/><br/>- Comfortable working with large media files (video, audio, text) and optimizing delivery.<br/><br/>- Apply a solution-oriented mindset with high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining global quality standards.<br/><br/>- Fluent in Python and experienced or interested in architecting large-scale applications.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualities : </b><br/><br/>- 4 to 6 years of industry experience in IT or software engineering.<br/><br/>- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.<br/><br/>- Expertise in object-oriented programming concepts.<br/><br/>- Strong grasp of web programming and developing secure, scalable web-based applications.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with languages such as Python, Bash, Core Java, Scala.<br/><br/>- Strong team collaboration skills with clear personal and professional growth goals.<br/><br/>- Open, humble, and a team-first mindset.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science (Graduate-level education preferred).</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
