<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Senior iOS Developer.<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 5+ years.<br/><br/><b>Work Mode : </b> Remote.<br/><br/><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer with a strong focus on accessibility to join our team on a 5-month contract.<br/><br/>This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our iOS applications are accessible, inclusive, and compliant with WCAG 2.0+ standards.<br/><br/>Youll work hands-on with accessibility tools and technologies such as VoiceOver, and leverage both UIKit and SwiftUI accessibility APIs to enhance user experience for all users.<br/><br/>This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive design and ready to lead accessibility initiatives across a modern iOS codebase.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Develop and implement accessibility features aligned with WCAG 2.0+ guidelines throughout the software lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver features, fix bugs, and improve overall accessibility.<br/><br/>- Attend regular status meetings to report progress, blockers, and raise accessibility-related concerns.<br/><br/>- Provide mentorship and support to other developers in implementing accessibility features and best practices.<br/><br/>- Offer strategic guidance and technical support on inclusive design and mobile accessibility standards.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 3+ years of hands-on experience with iOS VoiceOver and accessibility APIs in UIKit and SwiftUI.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0+) and assistive technologies.<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote/hybrid teams.<br/><br/>- Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 5+ years of iOS development experience using SwiftUI, ViewModels, and MVVM architecture.<br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a focus on accessibility.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with git version control systems, including branching and merging workflows.<br/><br/>- 2+ years of experience with video/audio playback and FairPlay DRM.<br/><br/>- Experience integrating and working with REST APIs and GraphQL services.<br/><br/>- Prior experience in mentorship or technical leadership is a plus.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
