<p>Job Description : </p><p><br/></p><p>As an Embedded Linux Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining embedded systems and Linux-based solutions.

You will play a key role in driving innovative development projects within the Linux ecosystem, contributing to device drivers, kernel development, and system architecture for various domains including multimedia, power management, and display technology.

This position requires strong expertise in C/C++, Linux kernel programming, and hands-on experience in embedded Skills :<br/><br/>- Engineer with 2+yrs of experience in embedded Linux/Linux application/driver/kernel development.<br/><br/>- Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object oriented design.<br/><br/>- Experience dealing with Linux community and Open Source contribution a plus<br/><br/>- Experience with any one of the domain (Multi Media, Power management, Display technology, OpenGL)<br/><br/>- Experience with Audio sub-system, Audio drivers's, frameworks and ALSA SOC(ASOC), Audio protocols like I2S, Proficient in yocto development.<br/><br/>- Good working experience with IPC, DMA driver development.<br/><br/>- Strong background in embedded systems development<br/><br/>- System knowledge, System Debugging<br/><br/>- Experience with kernel mode driver programming in Linux<br/><br/>- Linux Device driver programming experience in Linux Kernel and Drivers.<br/><br/>- Work in both an individual and team member environment<br/><br/>- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills of the building blocks.<br/><br/>- Kernel bug fixes and upstreaming<br/><br/>- Strong written and verbal communication skills<br/><br/>- Self-motivated, should be able to take lead in mastering new technologies<br/><br/>Good to have :<br/><br/>- Expertise with CAR Framework.<br/><br/>- Automotive experience<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities :<br/><br/>1.

Embedded Linux Development :<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain Linux-based applications, drivers, and kernel components for embedded systems.<br/><br/>- Design and implement solutions for audio subsystems, including Audio SOC frameworks, ALSA, and related protocols like I2S.<br/><br/>2.

Kernel and Driver Programming :<br/><br/>- Develop and debug Linux kernel modules and device drivers.<br/><br/>- Collaborate on kernel bug fixes and upstreaming, ensuring code stability and performance.<br/><br/>- Work with inter-process communication (IPC) and DMA driver development for optimized hardware interactions.<br/><br/>3.

Multimedia and Display Technology :<br/><br/>- Work on multimedia systems and power management, contributing to display technology and OpenGL.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Linux and Open Source communities to enhance and contribute to projects.<br/><br/>4.

System Debugging and Problem Solving :<br/><br/>- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex system-level issues.<br/><br/>- Perform system-level integration and testing, ensuring high performance and reliability in embedded environments.<br/><br/>5.

Collaboration and Leadership :<br/><br/>- Work independently and as part of a team, contributing to both individual and group projects.<br/><br/>- Provide technical leadership and guidance in mastering new technologies.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.<br/><br/>6.

Yocto Development :<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain embedded Linux systems using Yocto, with a focus on customization and optimization for specific hardware.<br/><br/>7.
