</p><p><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Embedded C, Linux driver development, and Yocto-based Linux distribution customization.
</p><p><br/></p><p>This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge embedded platforms and contribute to system-level software development and optimization.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Develop, customize, and maintain Yocto-based Linux distributions for embedded devices.<br/><br/>- Work on Embedded C/C++ development, Linux kernel modules, and device drivers.<br/><br/>- Configure and optimize bootloaders, kernels, and BSPs for custom hardware.<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain build and test automation pipelines using tools like Jenkins.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug issues using GDB, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and performance tools (perf).<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and QA for integration and testing.<br/><br/>- Contribute to Linux upstreaming and maintain compliance with open-source standards.<br/><br/>- Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability across embedded platforms.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/><b>Technical Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++ programming.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Yocto Project layers, recipes, build systems, and distribution creation.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of Linux kernel development, device drivers, and bootloaders.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Jenkins, GDB, JTAG, and hardware debugging tools.<br/><br/>- Experience with performance analysis, system profiling, and optimization.<br/><br/>- Exposure to Linux upstreaming and open-source contribution is a plus.<br/><br/><b>Education :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.<br/><br/><b>Soft Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.<br/><br/>- Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative development environments.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
