<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/><b>Job Role :</b> Embedded Software Engineer Automotive<br/><br/><b>Experience :</b> 10 to 15 Years<br/><br/><b>Location :</b> Chennai<br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced <b>Embedded Software Engineer Automotive</b> to join our team.
The candidate will work on <b>Infotainment</b>, <b>Clusters</b>, <b>HPCs</b>, and Software-Defined Vehicle (<b>SDV</b>) systems, driving embedded software architecture, development, and delivery in a cross-functional <b>automotive</b> environment.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><br/></p>- Define, design, and implement embedded software architecture for automotive systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead board bring-up and hardware-software integration for new automotive platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop, review, and optimize C/C++ code, device drivers, and Linux BSP applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and guide embedded software engineers, providing technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate closely with Hardware, QA, AI/ML, Cloud, and Product Management teams to deliver fully integrated automotive solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in project planning, scheduling, task allocation, risk mitigation, and tracking technical execution to meet delivery timelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work on innovative SDV solutions, supporting software-defined and connected vehicle initiatives.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to new product development, including prototyping, validation, and production software delivery.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Strong experience in Embedded Software Development<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in BSP & Board Bring-up<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Linux BSP & Device Drivers<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong C / C++ programming skills<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in Automotive Product Development (Infotainment, Clusters, HPCs)<br/><br/></p><p>- In-depth knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in team leadership and project delivery<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with QNX-based systems<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Autosar Classic & Adaptive<br/><br/></p><p>- Expertise in Camera Bring-up and SDV solutions<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm, NXP, TI chipsets<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with AI/ML and Cloud platforms</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
