<p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer ITOM to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) and Operations team.<br/><br/>The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining IT Operations Management solutions, with a focus on automation, monitoring, orchestration, and integration of enterprise IT systems.<br/><br/>The Senior Developer will work closely with architects, IT operations, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient ITOM solutions that support business continuity, service reliability, and IT efficiency.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain ITOM solutions, including discovery, event management, service mapping, orchestration, and cloud management.</p><p><br/>- Work with ITSM and ITOM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow ITOM, BMC Helix, Micro Focus, or equivalent) to deliver business-aligned solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop automation scripts, workflows, and integrations to streamline IT operations and improve service delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure monitoring and event management tools, integrating them with ITSM platforms for proactive incident and problem management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of ITOM solutions across the IT landscape.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform system upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement of ITOM modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document technical designs, configurations, workflows, and operational procedures.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices are followed.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to ITOM implementations and integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and technologies that enhance ITOM capabilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure solutions align with ITIL processes, governance, and compliance requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work in Agile/DevOps environments and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.</p><br/><p><b>Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 2-6 years of experience in IT development, with at least 4 years in ITOM solution design and development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise IT environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with ITOM/ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow ITOM, BMC Helix, Micro Focus, or equivalent.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages : JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building system integrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Nagios, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, </p><p>AppDynamics).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CMDB design and integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and Service Management).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred/Good to Have :</b></p><br/><p>- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITOM) or equivalent certifications.<br/><br/></p><p>- ITIL v4 Certification.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions).<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of AIOps, machine learning in ITOM, and predictive monitoring.</p><br/><br/><p><b>Soft Skills :</b></p><br/><p>- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Team player with effective collaboration and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Self-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
