Role Overview:
The EUC Engineer will execute and support IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities across end-user devices, ensuring smooth deployment, relocation, and configuration of IT assets, while adhering to IT standards and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute IMAC activities for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other end-user computing devices.
- Perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, and configurations per IT policies.
- Manage asset tagging, inventory updates, and documentation.
- Support device rollouts, refresh projects, and user relocations.
- Ensure data backup, migration, and recovery during system moves.
- Troubleshoot hardware and OS-level issues;
escalate complex problems. - Coordinate with Service Desk, Network, and Infrastructure teams.
- Maintain SLA compliance for IMAC requests and ITSM closure.
- Support user onboarding/offboarding from a device perspective.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, checklists, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong EUC knowledge: Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune.
- Hardware setup, reimaging, and device provisioning experience.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, BMC Helix).
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP troubleshooting).
- Hands-on experience with remote support tools (RDP, TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Excellent documentation, reporting, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise IMAC deployments.
- Knowledge of asset management and lifecycle tracking tools.
- Exposure to endpoint security tools (BitLocker, antivirus solutions).
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
